Lotus365 is designed to work without an account, advertising, behavioral analytics, or a developer-operated data server.
Information stored by the app
Learning progress, completed practices, practice minutes, streaks, reflections, journal history, saved teachings or objects, memory-practice results, and sound, haptic, and notification preferences are stored on your device. This information supports features you choose to use.
If you enable iCloud for Lotus365, eligible learning state may also be synchronized through Apple’s private iCloud key-value storage so it can remain consistent across your Apple devices. Lotus365 does not operate a separate account or synchronization server.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime access are offered through Apple’s StoreKit. Apple processes payment and may provide the app with signed product, eligibility, and entitlement information needed to show prices, complete purchases, restore access, and determine whether Lotus365 Plus is active. Lotus365 does not receive your full payment-card details.
Notifications and pronunciation
Daily reminders and practice-completion alerts are scheduled through Apple’s local notification system after you grant permission. Pronunciation guidance uses Apple’s system speech service. Lotus365 does not record your voice and does not request microphone or speech-recognition access.
Data we do not collect through the app
Lotus365 does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, analytics SDKs, social profiles, user accounts, location collection, contact access, photo access, microphone capture, or an AI chat or content-generation service. Learning and reflection data is not sold or shared with data brokers.
Support correspondence
If you contact support by email, the email address and information you choose to send are received for the purpose of answering you, diagnosing the issue, maintaining a record of the request, and protecting the service. Do not send sensitive journal text or purchase credentials. Support correspondence is deleted when it is no longer reasonably needed for those purposes or legal obligations.
Control and deletion
You can change notification permission in iOS Settings, disable Lotus365’s use of iCloud in your Apple settings, and remove local app data by using the app’s data controls when available or deleting the app. Apple controls retention of copies stored in iCloud and purchase records associated with your Apple Account.
Children and changes
Lotus365 is a general-audience educational app and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated and an appropriate notice will be provided.
